This project was started as a registry for these models; to find out how many are still around, and where they are. If you own one, know someone who does, or simply know the history of one, please enter it in the registry by clicking the button above.
You can also view the previously registered cars here.
If you have found this site because you are searching for information to help sell a Commemorative Edition, we expect you to add your car to the registry. The information supplied on this site is free to view. It has taken a generous amout of time to research and maintain—the effort is ongoing. Materials are copyrighted and cannot be used for any purpose without permission.
Our mission is to complete the registries. If you're a CE owner here to get information, please be respectful of our mission and register your car. We have made it as simple as possible.
Welcome to SAABCE.com
This website is dedicated to the limited-production SAAB 900 Turbo Commemorative Editions that were produced for the U.S. and Canada in 1993 and 1994.
These cars were the last of the classic-body-style 900s, and were built to commemorate the proud history of these cars. The 1993 Commemorative Edition 900 was a hard-top coupe. The 1994 Commemorative Edition 900 was a convertible. Each of these models had exclusive features that set them apart from the other SAAB 900s being built at the time.
To see the specifications of each model, simply click on a car at the top of the page. Or click on the links above.
I also hope to have this be a clearinghouse for information on the cars. Please contact me at the link at the bottom of the page if you have info, pictures, or if something needs correcting.
Thanks Ronald Reece ('93 CE #186) for the photo.
Special note: It has been confirmed that a limited number of 1994 Commemorative Edition Convertibles were also produced for the Canadian market. We welcome our future Canadian registrants!
For all you Seinfeld fans out there, we now have our "Black SAAB Rules!" bumper stickers available; featuring the great quote from the infamous banned Puerto Rican Day Parade episode. Get them here. Not familiar with the quote? Watch the video clip.
